So, where do I start, well I entered this world on 30th October 1975 when Art Garfunkel was number 1 with 'I Only Have Eyes For You', this particular song not, happily, influencing my musical tastes for the rest of my life.

My love of music started from when I was around 7 years old, when an elderly relative left my dad a piano in her will and I took to the instrument straight away. I started piano laessons and that continued for the next 10 years.

After obtaining GCSE and A-Level grade A's in music, I grew a bit tired of 'classical' music and wanted to try out other musical styles, and so I went to Bretton Hall college of Performing Arts to study for a degree in Popular Music, yes thts right, a degree in pop music. I qualified with a 2:1 in 1997.

It was during my time at University that i started to DJ, not in the radio sense though, this was club DJ'ing, mixing records etc and helped develop my very large vinyl collection.

It was in 2003 that i first got a taste for Radio when i co-presented with Cheshire FM's Andy Stevenson on Metro Sound Radio, a hospital radio station broadcasting from Leigh. I then moved on to co-presenting on another community station, where I worked with Cheshire FM's  Garry Fuller. It was through Garry that i ended up meeting Dave Brierley Jones and being offered the chance to present the sports show on Cheshire FM.

And that takes us up to date. This is my second football season presenting on Cheshire, we've got a great team with Tom Smith and Simon Westland out reporting, and Kieran Tench producing the show, I just get the easy part, playing the tunes and keeping on top of who has scored where and when during the afternoon. It is a very intense four hours of broadcasting because anything can happen at any game at any time, and its a complete information overload, But I Love It.

In terms of football, well I'm a Manchester United fan. I'm limited to how much i can actually get to see of them owing to being in the studio, but I have been to two european finals, in 1991 the European Cup Winners Cup Final in Rotterdam when United beat Barcelona 2-1, and in 1999 when they won the european cup in Barcelona, at the magnificent Nou Camp stadium beating Bayern Munich 2-1.

And thats me.

Oh and just one thing,
