Event Summary

To commemorate the centenary of Captain Scott and his crew setting off from Britain to the South Pole, we will be showing a stunning selection of photographs from the expedition taken by Herbert Ponting. The exhibition offers a poignant and revealing glimpse of expedition life - an absorbing visual diary that completes the familiar and well documented story for the race to the South Pole. The exhibition is on loan from the Royal Geographical Society. Admission to the special exhibitions gallery is free.
