Police in Northwich have teamed up with a local supermarket to give shoppers a chance to talk to an officer about issues in their communities.

PCSOs Nicola Smith and Angela Richardson will be holding drop-in surgeries in the cafe at Tesco on Manchester Road from Saturday November 21.

PCSO Smith said: "By using Tesco as a base, we hope to encourage as many people as possible to come and talk to us. We are there to offer crime prevention advice, talk about issues in the community or give advice on policing matters."

"These surgeries give people the chance to have their say on local policing so I would encourage as many people as possible to drop in and see us on the days we are at the supermarket."

The surgeries will be held on:

Saturday November 21 from 2pm- 4pm

Tuesday December 1 from 10am - noon

Saturday December 12 from 2pm - 4pm

and Tuesday December 22 from 10am - noon.

Anyone who can't attend the surgeries but would like to speak to a member of the local Neighbourhood Policing team can call 0845 458 6392 or email northwich.npt@cheshire.pnn.police.uk
