Sam Walton

Hello Cheshire!!!
 
I've always wanted to say that! Well you've stumbled onto the part of the Cheshire FM website that will tell you a little bit more about me and who Sam Walton is! Here goes...
 
Well I have lived in Cheshire all my life. I grew up on a farm in a little village called Arley on the outskirts of Northwich. The farm was called Stockley Farm which I'm sure some of you may have heard of, it's an open farm where visitors get to come and have a look round. I now live in Wincham, there's less fields but atleast you can walk to the pub!
 
I went to Antrobus Primary School and then off to Weaverham High School where I got 10 GCSE's woohoo! I then went to Reaseheath College in Nantwich and studied the National Diploma in Agriculture course. I finished there in June 2008 and then started working on a farm in Byley near Middlewich.
 
Well how did you go from being a farmer to a DJ I hear you ask???? Well my carreer in radio started right here at Cheshire FM, I did my first ever show back in February. Radio is something that I have always wanted to do. I love to talk to people, as my Mum says, I could talk my way out of a room with no doors or windows! I'm also quite open on the radio and love to get on the level with the listeners by talking about everyday events and things that I have done recently. I sometimes rant on a little if I have an opinion about something too! All in all I love being a DJ and following the dream!!
 
In my spare time I'm often out with Knutsford Young Farmers www.knutsfordyfc.piczo.comat parties or out down the pub with mates. I love going to the Cinema and also enjoy going out, usually in Knutsford or Northwich. Im a huge Manchester City fan too! I have two dogs called Joey and Jake and I have my own cows too!! Now how many DJ's have you heard say that?!
 
I could write on forever but all that will have to wait for my autobiography!
You can hear me on Cheshire FM Tuesday - Thursady 7.00pm - 8.00pm and every Saturday 10.00pm - 2.00pm.
